How to get around
One of the town’s strongest appeals is the fantastic transport links to towns and cities across the south. Whether you want to travel to nearby cities or even another country, you’ll never be bound by your ability to commute.
Train and Thameslink
There are regular trains to London and you can arrive in just half an hour. Cheap tickets can take you to a vast network of locations, meaning you can experience the best of the south whenever you want.
For local travel, you can get around with a variety of bus routes. This is ideal for getting to the quieter landscapes just outside of town or for exploring the local lifestyle without long walks.
